The HUBZone Chamber of Commerce is excited announce that the State Department has set-aside a $200 million IDIQ for HUBZone small businesses. This is a direct result of the HUBZone Chamber getting involved with the State Department to help them identify qualified small businesses that could do this work during their Sources Sought phase.
They contacted the Chamber for our assistance and within 24 hours, my team and I were able to contact nearly 100 experienced HUBZone small businesses who were qualified and interested in doing this work, should the RFP come out set aside for HUBZone.
In early August 2018, that opportunity was set aside for HUBZone companies and now we'll be responding.
This goes a long way towards the mission of the HUBZone Chamber –getting the federal government’s 3% goal met by the end of FY19. That’s $13 billion set aside for HUBZone companies in one form or another as prime contractors.
Remember: “Government contracting is NOT a secret... it’s just a process.”
99% of the way there.
